Jackson Hole Turkey Trot

The Jackson Hole Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Wilson, Wyoming. The event is a community 5K fun run that is free to enter and untimed; there will be no official results. Donations are accepted to keep the race free (suggested amounts: $5 per person or $20 per family). The first 200 people to arrive on race day receive a piece of Turkey Trot swag. Prizes are offered for the top three female and top three male finishers and for Best Dressed. Attendees are asked to keep dogs on leash.

Course

The course starts and ends in the Stilson Parking Lot and follows a loop of the new pathway along the south side of Highway 22 to Wilson. The route begins with about a 0.4 mile loop in the parking lot, then joins the community pathway. Just before the two-mile mark runners cross under Highway 22 and follow the pathway to the junction with HHR Road, turn right (north) on HHR Road for a short section, and then return to the pathway just past Wilson Elementary School. A water station is located at the entrance to the pathway. Runners remain on the pathway until the three-mile mark, where a right turn returns them into Stilson and to the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
