James Island Connector Run

James Island Connector Run (JICR) is a Charleston, South Carolina race across the James Island Connector, starting on James Island and finishing on the Charleston peninsula. The event features an out-and-back, USATF-certified course with no exit ramps, offering scenic views of the Ashley River and downtown. Distances include an 8K Run, a 5K Run or Run/Walk, and a 5K Walk.

The post-race festival includes finishers medals for all, plus awards for top finishers, age groups, and a walkers award. Packet pickup options and parking via Lowes of James Island are provided, with support from the Charleston Running Club. Beneficiaries include Southern Tails for Precious Paws and LETC.
