Jessica Eubanks Burgin Memorial Run

Memorial 5k Run is a community road race in De Kalb, Texas (75559). The 3.1-mile paved course starts and finishes on Grizzly Street near State Bank, an out-and-back route with a gradual uphill. Water is provided at the start/finish and halfway.

Hosted by the De Kalb Bear Booster Athletic Dept., 100% of entry fees support local student-athletes. It honors a former girls track/cross-country coach and the district’s first girls athletic director. The race welcomes walkers; pets cheer from the curb, not in the race.
