Jingle Bells and Waggin' Tails 5K and Fun Run/Walk
The event is the 5th annual Jingle Bells and Waggin' Tails Holiday Weekend, presented by Cox Running Club and Love and Paws Rescue. It takes place on December 6, 2025 at Woodshed Smokehouse, 3201 Riverfront Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76107.
Both races are dog-friendly; dogs must be registered to attend. Hydration stations for humans and dogs are located at the halfway/turnaround point. The event is capped at 500 participants.

Early-bird registration (by Nov. 17) fees are: 1-Mile $20, 5K $30, Dog $10. Online registration (by Dec. 5) fees are: 1-Mile $25, 5K $35, Dog $10. Race day fees are: 1-Mile $30, 5K $40, Dog $10.
Packet pickup, post-race, and awards
Packet pickup is available Friday, December 5 at Ruff Resort & Spa, 9522 Camp Bowie Blvd West, Fort Worth. Race day packet pickup is at Woodshed Smokehouse.
Post-race offerings include vendor booths, games and music, a silent auction, and adoptable dogs. 5K finishers receive a finisher medal, a breakfast burrito, and a choice of an adult beverage or soft drink. Fun Run finishers receive a finisher medal and a breakfast burrito. Dog finishers receive a Redbarn meaty bone. Official results are chip-timed by Cox Racing Services. Awards are given to overall male and female, overall master male and female, and top male and female in each 5K age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
