About the race
Joshua Tree Half Marathon is a one-of-a-kind NIGHT RACE in Joshua Tree, California. The event offers a Half Marathon distance and a Charity Bib option, with a finish at Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground. The sandy, mostly dirt-road course traverses the Mojave Desert near Copper Mountain, featuring a 461 ft total elevation gain and a max of 2,774 ft.
Runners navigate a sandy trail loop with some pavement; headlamps are required and safety is emphasized. Cup-free aid stations (bring a reusable cup) and about five aid stations. There is a 4-hour time limit.
