Juneteenth Walk and Run
The Juneteenth Walk and Run is a free, inclusive event held in Columbus, Ohio, at the Shepard Branch Library (850 N. Nelson Rd). Celebrating the Juneteenth Anniversary, it promotes freedom and healthy lifestyles through walking and running.
Participants can choose from three distances: a 1-mile route highlighting the Underground Railroad Marker, a 4-mile underground trail, or a 5K underground trail. The event is supported by Black Men Run, Black Girls Run Columbus, Fleet Feet Columbus, and Saucony, featuring raffle prizes and shoe demos. Exclusive Juneteenth vintage tees are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting future community events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
