Event overview
The Jungle Gardens 7K Trail, 5K Run & 1 Mile takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hwy. 329 on Avery Island, LA 70513. The event offers multiple race options and a virtual option. The course runs on the hard-packed road that travels throughout Jungle Gardens. The event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and FUNraisers for St Jude pledges to raise $300,000 in 2025. The race notes that over 900 children from Louisiana are in active treatment in Memphis and affiliate hospitals.

Entries, fees and logistics
Entry options include in-person races and a virtual 5K or 7K with a t-shirt. T-shirt is guaranteed for registrants by October 13, 2025. Packet pickup is scheduled at Tri Running, 2813 Johnston St., Lafayette, LA on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Fee structure for the 5K and 7K:
- With t-shirt: $40 (June 1 - Aug 12); $45 (Aug 13 - Oct 29)
- No t-shirt: $30 (June 1 - Aug 12); $35 (Aug 13 - Oct 29)
1 Mile (no t-shirt): $30 (June 1 - Oct 29). Virtual event with t-shirt: $35; optional shipping for packet pickup is available for an $8 postage fee. Age categories and awards are specified for each race; 1 Mile, 5K and 7K participants receive finisher medals. A team award is given to the team with the most registered members. Post-race food will include jambalaya provided by the Knights of Columbus, and the nearby McIlhenny Factory and gift shops are noted as local points of interest.
