Jupiter Ridge Sand Spur

The Jupiter Ridge Sand Spur is a challenging ultramarathon held in Jupiter, Florida, featuring ancient sand dunes in the rare Florida Scrub habitat. The 2025 event offers multiple distances including a 50K, half marathon, and unique "Lunacy" races combining day and night runs: a 30k night run, a 50k (half marathon plus night run), and a 50-mile race (50k plus night run). The course consists of loops over sand dunes with significant elevation gain—up to 3,000 feet for the 50-miler—making it one of South Florida's most demanding trail races.
