Just A Short Run takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the North Park Boathouse in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. The event offers multiple race distances:

- 30K The race has been held since 2001 and has raised funds to benefit local charities working on leukemia and blood-borne cancers. The course and event setup are managed by GCXC and a team of volunteers. The event regularly attracts runners from many U.S. states.

Just A Short Run is part of the GCXC "Conquer the Cold" Winter Challenge, a bundle that includes two other North Park races earlier in the season. Participants who register for and complete the bundled challenge receive an exclusive commemorative finishers medal at Just A Short Run plus individual race swag from each event. The challenge requires registration using the challenge bundle to be eligible for these perks.
