Kings County Turkey Trot

The Kings County Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving-day race in downtown Hanford, California, organized by Champions Recovery Alternative Services. It offers a 5K Run/Walk, a 3K Turkey Trot Walk, and Kids Races (1/4 mile and 1/2 mile). The new start/finish is at 325 N Douty Street, with a scenic downtown course that loops around the city and includes an out-and-back section on Douty Street after the 5K split.

Special features include medals for the top 20 male and top 20 female 5K finishers, a Biggest Flock Award for teams, and a best-dressed tie-breaker. Kids can join the 3K or 5K with family. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
