Knox County Suicide Prevention 10k

Website

The Knox County Suicide Prevention 5K/10K is an annual walk and run event held at Ariel Foundation Park in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This community-focused race offers both 5K and 10K distances and welcomes participants of all ages, including walkers, runners, joggers, and those with strollers or dogs. The event aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention and support those affected by suicide.

A special memorial lighting of the tower and bridge takes place during the event to honor loved ones lost. Proceeds benefit the Knox County Suicide Prevention Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing suicide rates and providing resources and support. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers in each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
