Knox County Suicide Prevention 10k

The Knox County Suicide Prevention 5K/10K is an annual walk and run event held at Ariel Foundation Park in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This community-focused race offers both 5K and 10K distances, welcoming runners, walkers, joggers, strollers, and dogs of all ages. The event aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention and support those affected by suicide.

A special memorial lighting of the tower and bridge takes place during the event to honor loved ones lost, with families encouraged to bring photos to share. Proceeds benefit the Knox County Suicide Prevention Coalition, supporting education, resources, and grief support in the community. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers in each race.
