About the race
Knoxville DEKA FIT is staged at the World’s Fair Exhibition Hall in Knoxville, Tennessee, near downtown and the University of Tennessee. The event combines a 5K course with ten functional training zones, each preceded by 500 meters of running. Athletes compete in heats across skill levels from Age Group to Elite.
The zones progressively tax endurance, strength, and mental grit, with the final zones demanding full-body focus. Finishers earn a DEKA FIT tee, a medal with a Trifecta wedge, and a place on the global leaderboard. The venue and layout provide a vibrant, accessible atmosphere for all fitness levels.
