Kolache Factory 5K/10K/Kids Dash : March 7, 2026
The Kolache Factory 5K/10K/Kids Dash is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Addicks Park and Ride in Houston, Texas (14230 Katy Fwy). The event offers in-person and virtual options and limits registration to 1,500 spots. All 5K and 10K participants receive a participant bib with an RFID tag, a tech T-shirt or ladies tank, and a finisher medal. Kids Dash participants (ages 1-12) receive a participant bib, tech T-shirt, and finisher medal. Post-race hospitality near the start/finish includes two complimentary kolaches for participants. Race distances and logistics
- 5K Run/Walk - complete 3.1 miles
- 10K Run/Walk - complete 6.2 miles
- Kids Dash - one loop in the parking lot, ages 1-12
- Virtual 5K/10K - complete 3.1 or 6.2 miles from home
The course is described as a USATF-certified single-loop 5K with the 10K as a double loop; mile markers will be posted and water stations located at the start and roughly mid-course. Parking is available at Addicks Park and Ride with two accessible entry/exit points near I-10; one access road may close on event day. Packet pickup is at Sun & Ski Sports, Memorial City Mall, on the listed pre-race dates. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
