About the race
The Kona Chocolate Run is a festive running event held at Belle Isle State Park in Detroit, Michigan. Offering distances of 5K, 10K, and a 15K Double Up Challenge, the race features a flat, scenic course with views of the Detroit skyline, Ambassador Bridge, Gordie Howe International Bridge, and Windsor’s waterfront. The event welcomes runners of all levels, including a Kids 800m Fun Run.
After the race, participants enjoy a legendary Chocolate Buffet with hot cocoa, chocolate treats, cakes, ice cream, and more.
