Kosten Foundation Kick It 5K : Event
The Kosten Foundation Kick It 5K is scheduled for October 26, 2025, at Mullins Station Event Field, Shelby Farms Park, Memphis, TN. The event is an in-person run or walk with a virtual option. The program includes a memorial and survivor ceremony followed by the 5K and a 1K.

Fundraising and community
All proceeds support pancreatic cancer research. The race is the 15th annual event. Over the years the race has grown to include more than 2,500 participants and last year’s race raised more than $150,000. In 20 years the Kosten Foundation has raised and donated more than $2.4 million to pancreatic cancer research programs.
The foundation hosts a free monthly virtual support group meeting for pancreatic cancer patients, survivors, and others affected by the disease. Current fundraising information shows the Herb Kosten Foundation has raised $6,949.99 toward a $50,000 goal (14%); the event listing also shows 195 registered participants.
