About the race
KROP - Kaizen Rite of Passage is Kaizen Running Club’s first official chip-timed trail race, held at Welling Ridge Trails near Tahlequah, Oklahoma. It offers 4-, 8-, 12-mile distances, a 50K (32 miles), and a 10-hour ruck relay. All distances follow the same scenic 4-mile loop—a flat single-track with about 417 feet of gain per loop—starting and finishing at the same area with fueling and hydration.
The vibe is friendly and festive, with music, snacks, and free race photos by Matthew Lee Photography. Finisher medals for all, a 50K belt buckle, top-three trophies, and a ruck relay belt complete the awards. Proceeds go to Tahlequah Trails Association.
