About the race
Valley Center, Kansas hosts the KUS 6/12/24 Hour Run on a fast, flat 400-meter track at Valley Center Intermediate School. The event offers four distances: 24-hour, 12-hour night, 12-hour, and 6-hour, all chip-timed on a USATF-certified course (KS24008TJD) eligible for state records, with directions changed every four hours. Finisher awards require completing 50K; top three in each event receive awards, and a 2025 doubler award honors finishing both this event and Heat Wave 6/12/24.
Swag includes a T-shirt and coffee mug; aid is cup-less with warm options. Drop bags and crewing on the infield are allowed; pacers are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
