La Crescent Applefest

The La Crescent Applefest 5k is a scenic point-to-point race held in La Crescent, Minnesota, known as the "Apple Capital of Minnesota." The course starts at Old Hickory Park on the north side of town and finishes at Quillin's. Participants receive a long-sleeve cotton blend t-shirt (sizes guaranteed if registered by early September) and a 3-pound bag of local apples as an award. The race is chip-timed by Wayzata Results, and proceeds support two college scholarships and the School District 300 Foundation.
