La Plata, MO Run Thru the Jungle

The La Plata, MO Run Thru the Jungle is an annual running event held in downtown La Plata, Missouri, as part of the city's Soybean Festival. The 33rd edition features a 5K run, a 1.2-mile walk, and a Tot Trot for children. The 5K course combines 1.2 miles of flat city streets with 1.9 miles through the scenic La Plata golf course, including rolling hills, bridges, and wooded areas, offering a challenging yet beautiful route.
