Dirty Spokes - Labor Day 5K
The Labor Day 5K is scheduled for September 5, 2026, at Little Mulberry Park (Fence Road side) in Dacula, Georgia. The event is a 5K running race held entirely on asphalt trails. Registration is online and the organizer has set a participant cap of 250 runners. The event is planned to take place rain or shine. All participants receive a custom cast dye finisher medal. The organizer will offer a tri-blend race shirt in men's and women's sizes, but there is no guarantee of a shirt with late or race day registration. Headphones and earbuds are allowed with the request that wearers remain courteous to others. Race numbers may not be transferred to another person.
Course, fees and awards
The course is 100% asphalt and the trail width is described as 10 to 12 feet. The route circles the pond and passes the playground, follows east and west meadow loops, and begins and ends in the area of the large pavilion. Entry fees for the 5K are $40 through August 22, $45 from August 23 to September 3, and $50 on race day if not sold out. Overall top three male and female finishers will receive awards, and the top three male and female finishers in each age group (14&U; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75&U) will receive medals; recipients must be present to collect awards. Walkers may participate but must complete the 3.1 miles at a 16 minute per mile pace or faster to receive an official time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
