Event overview
The Dirty Spokes Labor Day weekend running race is a 5K held at Little Mulberry Park, Fence Road side, in Dacula, Georgia on September 5, 2026. Registration is online and the event has a participant cap of 250 runners. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine. All participants receive a custom cast dye finisher medal. Entry fees for the 5K are listed as $40 through August 22, $45 from August 23 to September 3 (late), and $50 on race day if not sold out. The organizer plans to use a Super Soft tri-blend shirt in men's and women's sizes; shirts are not guaranteed for late or race-day registrants.
Course, logistics and awards
The course is entirely on asphalt, 10-12 feet wide, and follows paved park trails. The route starts near the large pavilion, runs around the pond trail (counter-clockwise), passes the playground, follows the East Meadow Loop and West Meadow Trail, passes the asphalt carriage trail without using it, and returns to the pavilion to finish. Packet pickup is available the morning of the race. Headphones and earbuds are allowed; bib numbers may not be transferred and serve as emergency identification. Awards include medals for the overall top three male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in each age group (14&U; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75&U). Medals are handed out in person and will not be mailed. Walkers may participate but must maintain a pace of 16 minutes per mile or faster to receive an official time.
