Event details
The Labor Day 5k - Ocala is the fifth annual running event held on Monday, September 7, 2026. The race distance is 5k and the entry fee is $30. Registration opens on November 25, 2025 at 8:20 pm EST. A special finisher prize is awarded to the first 100 finishers. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who registered by August 27; those who register after that date will need to check back after the race or contact the event organizer. Age group awards are given two deep in these divisions: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Location and race policies
The event takes place in Ocala, Florida, at 4255 SE 58th Ave, Ocala, FL 34472. Race day packet pick up starts at 7:00 am. Dogs are not permitted on the race course; well-behaved, leashed pets may spectate off the course. Registered service animals are an exception to the no-dog rule.
