Course and logistics
All courses run primarily on paved Lovell Canyon Road through high desert vegetation, including Joshua trees, piñon-juniper, mountain rose, and sagebrush. The road is described as twisting and rolling with generally gradual uphill sections. The 50K is entirely paved, has roughly 2,400 feet of total climbing with net zero gain, includes out-and-back segments, and allows one drop bag to be accessed at mile 26.2. Published time cutoffs apply to each distance.
Aid stations provide water and Gatorade in cups and will refill personal bottles; designated "ultra" aid stations also stock gels and additional provisions. Portable toilets are available at the start/finish and at specified miles on course. Parking may be near the start/finish or at an off-site dirt lot with shuttle service if used; there is no race-provided shuttle from the Las Vegas Strip. Awards: all finishers receive medals and overall and age-group awards are given, with placements based on gun time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
