Lacing Up Against Domestic Violence 5K Run & Walk
The Lacing Up Against Domestic Violence 5K Run & Walk takes place in Atlanta, GA, at 800 Cherokee Ave, within Grant Park. This community event honors survivors and raises awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participants can choose to run or walk the 5K course, which consists of a doubled loop inside Grant Park, completed twice for the full distance.
The event also features a Kid's Mini Dash for children aged 7 and under, and a Domestic Violence Resource Fair offering support and information. Awards are given to the top male, female, and youth finishers. The race promotes solidarity and healing in partnership with the Atlanta Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit.
