About the race
Lacing Up For Lupus is a 5K run held at Woodruff Park in Columbus, Georgia. The event raises awareness and funds for lupus patients and caregivers, supporting the local Lupus Foundation chapter and national research efforts. There are about 55,000 Georgians living with lupus.
The atmosphere is community-minded and inclusive, welcoming runners, walkers, and supporters alike. Proceeds help sustain essential programs, including seven statewide lupus symposiums, newly diagnosed seminars, teleconferences, and monthly support group meetings.
