Lake Country Challenge
The Lake Country Challenge is a scenic running event held in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, featuring an 8-mile run and a half marathon. Both races start at the Village Green in downtown Oconomowoc and take runners along the picturesque isthmus between Fowler Lake and Lac la Belle. The course winds through the charming Village of Lac la Belle, hugging the lake's shoreline and passing through serene countryside before finishing with a fast, flat sprint to City Beach on Lac la Belle's shores.
