Lake Tye Challenge
The Lake Tye Challenge is an ultramarathon held in Monroe, Washington, featuring 12-hour, 6-hour, and 3-hour timed races on a 1.75-mile loop trail around Lake Tye. Participants run as many laps as possible within their chosen time frame, with results based on total completed laps. The flat, clockwise course offers a full aid station at the start/finish area, providing water, electrolyte drinks, and energy-rich food.
Runners have access to a grassy lawn for drop bags and can cool off at the nearby beach. The event supports the Wild Sky Community Trails Association, promoting non-motorized trail preservation in the Skykomish River Valley. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
