The 5th Annual Lakeside Ten Mile 5K Fun Run takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in Ten Mile, Tennessee. The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) and is open to ages 8 to 99. Registration fee is listed as $38.10. The race benefits the Meigs County volunteer fire department.
Course, logistics and awards
The course runs from the Ten Mile town area up to Euchee Marina and is mostly on pavement, with the last few feet on light gravel. Organizers describe the route as having gentle hills and lake views. Parking is available at Lakeside Baptist Church or Euchee Marina, and transportation from Euchee back to Ten Mile will be provided.
The event will be professionally timed by the Knoxville Track Club so recorded times can be used for qualification purposes. Medals will be awarded first through third place male/female in eight age groups, plus first through third overall and a special award for overall winners. T-shirts and swag bags are provided to runners, and doughnuts, bananas and water will be available at the finish. Baby joggers and well behaved leashed dogs are allowed after other racers start.
