Lamplighter Festival 5K

Lamplighter Festival 5K Run/Walk takes place in Maple Rapids, MI, as part of the festival. It features a 5K run/walk and a free Kids Dash for ages 10 and under. Participants meet at the Park Pavilion on Main Street and Poplar Street, creating a family-friendly atmosphere with craft shows and live entertainment in the park.

After the race, a lamplighter ceremony and parade cap the activities. The 5K is chip-timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with live results on the event site. Shirts are guaranteed for early entrants; medals are awarded by age group; overall top male and female honored.
