Runners cover a course of 4.2 miles each way; runners must complete each 4.2 mile leg within a one-hour block and the direction alternates each block until one runner remains. The 24- and 48-hour events use the same course and allow runners to accumulate distance over the event period. Finishers who reach 100, 150 or 200 miles receive a finishers buckle. Additional prizes include base payouts for the Last Dot Standing event: the last person standing receives the greater of $500 or 50% of the pot, and the last woman and last man standing each receive the greater of $250 or 25% of the pot. The pot equals 25% of registration fees for the Last Dot event. Special prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the 24- and 48-hour races. A registration discount is offered for active military, veterans and first responders. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
