About the race
Last H.I.M. Standing is a running event in Jacksonville, Florida, held at 13130 Bartram Park Blvd. The race uses a last-man-standing backyard ultra format: competitors must complete a 4-mile loop every hour on the hour, with the aim of outlasting all others.
The event grew from the F3 free men's workout group, which promotes male leadership; within F3, CSAUP events (Crazy, Stupid and Utterly Pointless) inspired this race. Described as a test of mental grit, physical ability, and self-belief, the atmosphere emphasizes community, support, and personal achievement as athletes push toward being the final man standing.
