Event overview
The Last One Standing 10K+ Ultra Marathon is a self-supported, looped ultra running event in St. George, Utah. The course uses asphalt trails of the Mayor's Loop near the Virgin River and provides views of the city. The event base is Crosby Family Confluence Park at 2099 S Convention Center Drive.
Distances
- 6 miles per adult loop
- 5.3 miles per kids loop
- 102 miles for completing 17 adult loops
Format, rules and logistics
The adult race is based on repeating a 6-mile loop. Each loop must be completed within the allotted 90 minutes to remain in the race; failure to return in time results in elimination. The normal sequence includes 16 regular loops followed by a 17th final lap to determine overall winners. The kids division follows the same loop except for the first 0.7-mile out-and-back and allows non-motorized means of transport.
One aid station is located about halfway through the loop at St. James Park and will offer water, Gatorade, and Gu products; it will be unattended. Packet pickup and the event camp/staging area are at Crosby Family Confluence Park. Awards include a finisher medal after the first loop, a button for each completed lap, a belt buckle for all 17 loops, and champion prizes for overall male and female winners. Entry fees listed for the adult and kids divisions are in the event information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
