Event details
The LCM Legacy Color Run and Walk is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Orange, Texas at 6586 FM 1130. The event features a 5K color run and walk. Entry fees are listed as $30 for general registration, $0 for ages 0 to 4, and $20 for ages 5 to 12. The event is organized to raise money for grants awarded by the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc. Participants who register before April 12 are guaranteed a free color run shirt. Runners ages 11 and up are eligible to place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their age group and gender; participants 10 and under receive a participation ribbon.
Additional information
Race bibs, T-shirts, and swag bags may be picked up the day before at the LCM Administration Building and on race day at the event. Race day parking is available at Little Cypress Junior High; participants are asked to walk to the start line and avoid blocking the start/finish area and Legacy Park activities. Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels and some color, water, smoke, kilometer, and bag sponsor spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather, and event updates or packet pickup instructions will be posted on the LCM Education Foundation Facebook page. Registration opens November 1, 2025.
