Leavenworth Marathon

The Leavenworth Marathon, held in the scenic Bavarian-themed village of Leavenworth, Washington, offers a stunning and fast course starting near the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area. The marathon route features a 9-mile stretch through Icicle Canyon, followed by a scenic run along East Leavenworth Road and wooded riverfront parks, with a two-lap format finishing at Enchantment Park Event Center. The course includes paved roads, dirt paths, and trails, surrounded by mountains and wildlife.

A half marathon starts downtown on Front Street, sharing much of the marathon route. The event is USATF certified and a Boston qualifier, with a six-hour marathon time limit and a four-hour half marathon limit. Organized by TedDriven, it supports cancer research and local nonprofits.
