Event overview
The Lexington Gobble Wobble 5k is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Lexington, Virginia. The event is organized by the Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees and is the 14th annual running of the Gobble Wobble. The course begins and ends at the Maury River Middle/Upper School parking lot and runs through a scenic downtown route.

Registration listed a base fee of $35, with the price increasing after November 4, 2025. Pre-registered 5k entrants who register by November 1 will be guaranteed a long-sleeve race t-shirt while supplies last. Packet pick-up is available at Lex Running Shop on the Tuesday and Wednesday before the race, with day-of packet pick-up at Maury River Middle School.
The 5k is chip timed. Strollers and leashed pets are allowed. Post-race water and refreshments will be provided. The 5k includes overall and age-group awards. Children's Fun Run registration is available on race day and requires a guardian to sign a waiver. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
