Lime Creek Timber Trot

Lime Creek Timber Trot is a trail running event on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Lime Creek Nature Center, 3501 Lime Creek Rd, Mason City, IA 50401. It features 5‑mile and 5K routes through restored prairie and wooded areas along the Winnebago River, offering scenic fall colors. The rocky trails require no spikes.

Chip timing provides precise results. Packet pickup is at the Nature Center on Friday afternoon and race morning. Early entry includes a long‑sleeve tech shirt, and every entrant receives a $20 gift card to Wayne’s Ski and Cycle, with sponsor funds supporting Lime Creek programs.
