Course, format and awards
The 5K Run uses a 1.55 mile out-and-back section on the D@L Trail and runs on the Lehigh Gorge Trail, starting south out of the Jim Thorpe Train Station lot. The 5K Walk uses the same course and is an untimed event starting 30 minutes after the competitive 5K. The 1 Mile Youth Race and 1 Mile Adult Fun Run are a 0.5 mile out-and-back course and start together.
Overall winners are scored by gun time. Age group winners and all age group ranking use chip time. Age group finisher certificates will be emailed for these groups: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 Plus. Parking options include street parking and paid parking by the train station.
