Lisa Shampoe 5K

The Lisa Shampoe 5K is an annual run/walk event held in Mission, Texas, at the Mission Hike and Bike Trail. The 18th edition takes place on August 23, 2025, featuring a paved out-and-back course suitable for running, jogging, or walking. The event supports cancer awareness and provides direct financial aid to local individuals battling cancer, in partnership with the United Way of South Texas.

Participants receive custom medals, and awards are given across various age categories and overall winners. Pre-registered runners enter a raffle for a chance to win a one-year Chick-fil-A meal.
