Event overview
The Lizard Peak Scramble 10k/5k takes place on October 18, 2025 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona (7206 Dub Campbell Parkway). The event is presented by AZAK Event Company and is the inaugural edition. The program includes multiple distances and a youth race:

The Heart Attack Hill 5k is described as hiker friendly. Dogs and other furry friends are not allowed. Course markings are specified: 10k routes use blue markings and 5k routes use green markings. GPX course files for the 10k, 5k and Heart Attack Hill 5k are provided for download.
What is included and event features
All entries include a race selection and a race bib, free race photos, and a finishers medal. Official event shirts and hats are available as registration add-ons or in the event store; shirt sales benefit the nonprofit A Clear Path Forward (EIN 33-3443841). Store items are not shipped and must be picked up at event check in. Additional on-site features include start/finish line music, a post race recovery zone free to participants with hydration samples, healthy snacks, a cold plunge, and access to a physical therapist.
