Located in Ville Platte, Louisiana, the Loup Garou Trail Run offers four ultramarathon distances: 100, 60, 40, and 20 miles. The course is described as a distinctly Louisiana trail, featuring long bridges over cypress swamps and segments through hardwood forest and piney woods. Much of the single-track route is not as flat as one might expect for south Louisiana.
