Event overview
The Love in Motion 5K is a community road race presented by Steadman Baptist Church in Tallapoosa, Georgia on November 15, 2025. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a 1 Mile fun run/walk. The start and finish are at the Steadman Baptist Church parking lot, and the event is held rain-or-shine. Proceeds support the Steadman Baptist Church Mission Trip 2026 (Liberia).

Registration is available online and in person. Early registration rates end November 9, 2025: $30 for the 5K and $5 for the 1 Mile. Regular/ race day fees are $40 for the 5K and $10 for the 1 Mile; T-shirt availability cannot be guaranteed for regular registration.
The event will have course monitors at key intersections, at least two water stations (one at the 1-mile point and one at the finish), and a designated first aid team with an emergency plan. Timing for the 5K will be electronic, provided by Wire2WireRunning using MyLaps equipment. Post-race refreshments include water, fruit, and granola bars. The 5K awards include top overall, masters, and top three in multiple age groups; there are no awards for the 1 Mile.
