The Lowell Labor Day Weekend 5K is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Lowell, Indiana at 195 West Oakley Avenue, Lowell, IN 46356. The event is a run or walk of 3.1 miles (5K) to support the Tri-Creek Education Foundation. Participants are asked to bring and donate used running and walking shoes to the Calumet Region Striders on-site tent. Ample parking and facilities are available on site. Awards and door prizes are presented immediately after the race; winners must be present to receive awards. Prize categories include top overall male and female, top male and female masters, and top three finishers in age divisions from 0-8 up through 80+, plus Athena and Clydesdale divisions.
Registration and fees
Online registration opens June 5, 2026. Early registration (June through August 14) for adults (15 years and older) is $25; adult registration after August 14 is $30. Youth (14 years and younger) registration is $10 at all times. T-shirts are available only for participants who register on or before August 14, 2026; t-shirts are guaranteed if ordered and paid for by that date. Youth t-shirt cost if ordered before August 14 is $12. Adult t-shirt prices if ordered before August 14 are $16 (S-XXL), $17 (XXXL), and $18 (XXXXL). A $2 club discount applies to Calumet Region Striders members. There are no refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
