LSSC Monster Dash

The LSSC Monster Dash is a family-friendly running event held at Lake-Sumter State College’s Leesburg Campus in Florida. Featuring 5K and 10K race options, the course offers scenic views around Silver Lake, providing a fun and festive atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, adding to the Halloween spirit of the event.

All registered runners receive a t-shirt and medal (if registered by the early deadline), and the race is timed with awards for top finishers in various age and gender categories. Proceeds support the LSSC Foundation, benefiting scholarships and education at the college. The event also includes a costume contest with trophies for the best outfits.
