LSSC Monster Dash

Monster Dash is a family-friendly running event hosted by Lake-Sumter State College behind the Leesburg Campus, with a course that circles Silver Lake for scenic views. The race offers 5K and 10K options, plus a Virtual Racer entry. All registered participants receive a t-shirt and a medal, and top finishers in each age/gender category are recognized.

Costumes are encouraged, and a Monster Dash Costume Contest awards trophies. Proceeds benefit the LSSC Foundation to support scholarships and education at the college.
