Lungbuster 5k

The Lungbuster 5k is an annual running event held in Mukilteo, aimed at raising funds for research into ROS1 positive lung cancer treatments. Established in honor of Amie Parker, who was diagnosed with lung cancer caused by the ROS1 mutation, the event highlights the urgent need for increased research funding for this often-overlooked type of lung cancer. Since its inception in 2018, the Lungbuster nonprofit has donated $120,000 to lung cancer research, with all race fees and donations going directly to the ROS1ders research fund.
