The 15th annual Mad Marathon weekend includes the Mad Marathon, Mad Half, relay teams, a 10K and a 5K. The events are scheduled for July 12, 2026, in the Mad River Valley in Central Vermont.

Course and location
Races run through a rural community on paved back roads and dirt roads. The course passes views of the Green Mountains, rolling farmlands with climbs and descents, small villages, historic barns, covered bridges and fields of Vermont cows.
