Event
The Maine Coast Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Wells, ME on May 2–3, 2026. The weekend includes these distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5K
The schedule places the Half Marathon on Saturday and the Full Marathon and 5K on Sunday.
Race details and extras
The course runs along the Maine coastline and passes white-sand beaches and marshlands. Races are professionally timed and every finisher receives a commemorative medal. Free finisher photos are provided. A post-race party is held at Wells Harbor Community Park and includes two complimentary beers for participants age 21 and over with ID.
Additional weekend features include the Maine Mile Madness, a 1-mile timed segment between miles 10 and 11 where prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and the 207th finisher. The Coastline Challenge lets participants run two races over the weekend to earn three medals plus a bonus medal and exclusive swag. A virtual run option is also offered.
