The Manhattan Irish Fest Parade 5k is scheduled for March 7, 2026 in Manhattan, IL (60442). The event distance is 5K. The race is presented in cooperation with the Irish American Society of County Will and the Prairie State Road Runners and runs along the parade route as part of the Irish Fest activities. The course is USATF certified (IL15029) and timing mats will be used at the start and finish. A sweeper will maintain about a 22-minute per mile pace; course marshals remain on course until the sweeper passes.

Entry price is listed as $30 (strikethrough price shown $50). Registration opens November 28, 2025 and 500 spots are shown as available. There will not be race-day registration. Parking in town is limited; the Metra station at 15601 Sweedler Road is designated for parking and shuttle service to the start. Race forms at the intersection of North and Thelma streets near St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Christ. Packet pickup is available at the Metra station on race day and early pickup is offered Friday at Fitness Premier in Manhattan.
Post-race offerings include snacks and water at the finish and a main festival tent with food and beverages for purchase, plus on-stage entertainment. Overall and age-group awards include trophies for overall male and female and masters (40+), medals for age groups, and participation awards for those 14 and under.
