Overview
The Mankato Marathon takes place in Mankato, Minnesota on October 16-17, 2026. The event is presented by Mayo Clinic Health System. Courses combine scenic trails and urban streets and highlight the Minnesota River Valley. The weekend includes a Scheels Wellness Expo and a range of race distances from children’s events to the full marathon. On-course support includes bike responders and a sport psychology team. Registration opens December 1, 2025.

Virtual race entries include shipping of medal, jacket, and bib, with virtual result submission allowed between October 20 and October 31. Sponsors include local and regional organizations.
