Marshall University Marathon

The Marshall University Marathon, scheduled for November 2, 2025, in Huntington, West Virginia, features a certified 26.2-mile marathon, a half marathon, and a 3.25-mile run/walk. A unique highlight of the event is the opportunity for participants to carry a football down the field to the goal line finish at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

The marathon is known for its fast and flat course, scenic views of the Ohio River, and excellent post-race festivities, including food and refreshments.
