The Matawan Borough 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness Walk is a certified 5 km race and fitness walk held in Matawan, New Jersey on Saturday, November 29, 2025. This is the 19th annual running of the event. Registration and logistics
Online registration opens on Wednesday, October 1. Fee levels listed are: Early Bird $30 through October 22; Regular $35 from October 23 through November 19; in-person race day registration $40. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 28 at the Matawan Borough Municipal and Community Center, 201 Broad Street (entrance at the side door at the top of the stairs closest to the main parking lot). Additional packet pickup is available on the race day.
Awards are given at the Race Medal Table by municipal officials as winners are identified. Awards include Top 3 overall male and female and Top 3 male and female in each age group. Age groups run from 10 and under through 80 and over, in standard multi-year brackets. No duplicate awards will be given. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
