Matt Mason "Cowboy UP" Triathlon

The Matt Mason “Cowboy UP!” Triathlon/Duathlon is held at Smithville Lake’s Crow’s Creek Park, Shelter 5, in Smithville, Missouri. The event honors fallen servicemen and women and keeps Matt Mason’s memory alive while supporting families. Race options include Short Course Triathlon (500m swim, 11-mile bike on two laps, 5K run mostly flat, out-and-back), Long Course Triathlon (1000m swim, 18.8-mile bike on four laps, 10K run), Short Course Duathlon (1.5-mile run, 11-mile bike on two laps, 5K run), and relay formats, plus a Virtual Runner.
